the expanded carbon layer formed by expandable graphite carbon has excellent heat insulation performance and high-temperature resistance.Expandable graphite is the only one that can be used in harsh conditions and has enough expansion strength.

4.Fireproof bag ,fireproof blocking material 

because of the high expansion rate of expandable graphite at high temperatures,it can be used as an effective intumescent flame retardant material to make fire-proof packages and fire-proof plugging material

5. Fire board

expandable graphite is used in the mixture of the fire-proof board,in order to increase the fire-proof performance of the board ,reduce the density of the board and enhance the heat insulation performances.

6.battery material

As a battery material, expandable graphite is converted into electrical energy by the change of free energy of the interlayer reaction of expandable graphite.

7.flame retardant coating

Expandable graphite is trying to be used in flame retardant coating ,which can give coatings excellent thermal expansion.The coatings overcome the shortcomings of the the previous coatings which are easy to produce smoke.
